Questions families ask

How do we place our swimmer?

Book a placement visit. Your swimmer spends a short time in the water with an instructor, who watches how the swimmer moves and suggests a level and a class time.

What is a level?

A level is a step on the swimming path, with its own cap color. Each one has its own skills, and the instructor decides when a swimmer is ready to move up.

How long is a class?

Classes are thirty minutes, once or twice a week, on weekday afternoons or Saturday mornings.

What should we bring?

A swim cap in the color of the level, goggles if your swimmer likes them, and a towel. A swim shirt is welcome in every class.

Where do parents watch?

A parent or guardian stays at the pool during every class and watches from the bench or the deck.

Who is in the water with my child?

An instructor is in the water or on the step beside every swimmer.

Can my child take classes in Spanish?

Yes. Sheyla and Cecilio teach in Spanish, and all of our instructors teach in English. Tell us which you prefer when you book, and we will place your swimmer with an instructor who teaches in it.

What happens if we miss a class?

A missed class can be made up in an open class at the same level. If the pool closes, we text families and make up the class the same way.

How does tuition work?

Tuition depends on the level and how many classes a week your swimmer takes.

How do we start?

Book a placement visit on our enrollment page, or send us a message on WhatsApp, and we will find a time that suits you.

Still have a question?

Write to the front desk and we will answer in English or in Spanish.
